María Laura Olcina
María Laura Olcina is an Argentinian graphic designer, community manager, photographer and a teacher. Graduated in visual communication design from Universidad Nacional del Litoral, she is part of the chair of audiovisual expressive media at the same university. She completed her Master’s degree in Typography at the University of Buenos Aires and is currently working on her thesis. Her work was selected for the 9th Latin Type Biennial in the Emerging Talent category, with her classmates Sandra Morales and Camila Pire. At 2023 she was a finalist at the MALEE scholarhip for women in type. She has been working with PampaType since 2017 to help them build an engaged social media community around the foundry. As a designer she collaborates with a range of organizations and also enjoys involving in lettering projects. She gives workshops on photography and content creation for social media too.
